The Oakridge girls basketball team completed its romp through the West Michigan Conference with a 65-32 victory over Ravenna on Friday.

The Eagles, who have won four straight WMC titles, wrapped up their league schedule with a perfect 14-0 record.

Ravenna led 12-9 after the first quarter with Melissa McWatters scoring six of her 18 points.

Hannah Reinhold responded in the second quarter by scoring 15 of her 25 points and giving Oakridge a 34-17 halftime lead.

Emily Jacoutot had 10 points and four steals for Oakridge while Brandy Weaver chipped in nine points. Makenzie Davis and Shelbe Wilde each pulled down 11 rebounds for the Eagles.

“We always have the goal to win our conference and our kids just know each other,” said Oakridge Coach Terry DeJonge. “They’ve been playing basketball together since grade school and that helps us overcome a lot of obstacles.”
