The Western Michigan Christian boys basketball team defeated Oakridge 57-46 on Tuesday night on their home court.
The Warriors (14-6) led 18-13 after the first quarter, 32-25 at halftime and 44-32 after the third quarter.
Jacob Ray and Jared Varnado led the Warriors with 12 points each.
James Cooper III scored 24 points for Oakridge (11-9).
Saugatuck 56, North Muskegon 42 – The Norsemen fell behind 30-17 at halftime and could not recover. Erick Bleakley led the Norse with 12 points while James Duncan had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Cadillac 41, Fremont 29 – The Packers shot 1-for-12 in the second quarter with 10 turnovers. Nathan Hoffman and Osvald Tranholm led the Packers with eight points apiece.
Holland 66, Mona Shores 41 – The Sailors fell behind 21-7 after the first quarter and couldn’t come back. Kobe Burse led the Sailors in scoring with 11 points while D’Quintaye Ross had nine.
Grant 51, Fruitport 43 – The Trojans fell behind 20-6 after the first quarter and 41-27 after the third quarter. Jason Carmean led the Trojans with 12 points while Nick Kramer had 11 points.
Kent City 60, Orchard View 51 – Kent City raced to a 35-18 halftime lead and hung on for the victory. Randy Thompson scored 24 points for Kent City. Orchard View (2-16, 0-9) was led by Matias Keyes with 22 points.
Zeeland West 67 Spring Lake 53 – The Lakers (13-6, 8-1) fell victim to a hot-shooting Zeeland West squad, which hit 12 three-pointers in the game. Spring Lake was led by Zach Montgomery and Cameron Ball with nine points apiece.
Mason County Central 63, Benzie Central 58 – Sean Kelley had 20 points and 11 rebounds while Johnny Shafer added 10 points for Mason County Central.
