The Grand Haven boys basketball team slipped past Grand Rapids Union 61-58 in a Class A district semifinal contest on Wednesday night.

The host Buccaneers entered the fourth quarter tied at 41-41, but went on a 16-10 run over the first 5 1/2 minutes of the quarter to take control.

Drew Hewitt led the Bucs with 25 points while Zac Holman added 16.

Curtis Davison led Grand Rapids Union with 16 points.

Grand Haven will face Muskegon on Friday for a Class A district title.
