The Mona Shores baseball team ran its record to 2-0 Tuesday by jumping out to an early lead then holding on for a wild 15-14 victory over Fruitport.

The Trojans left the tying run in scoring position in the final inning.

Tyler Trovinger and Cam McCarl paced Mona Shores offensively with two hits apiece. Pitcher Matt Pelfresne earned the save.
