The Ravenna and Hesperia softball teams split a doubleheader earlier this week
Ravenna claimed a 4-2 victory in the opener. Pitcher Madi Broton got the win, allowing two runs over six innings with eight strikeouts, three walks and four hits.
Hesperia got even in the nightcap with an 8-5 win. Alexa Klemundt had two hits for the Panthers while pitcher Sam Burdick got the win, scattering five hits, striking out seven and walking two.
