Reeths-Puffer’s hockey season ends with a 5-3 loss to TC Central in regionals

Reeths-Puffer’s hockey season came to a close on Wednesday with a 5-3 loss to Traverse City Central in the Division 2 regional finals.

The Rockets looked as though they might run away with the win after Riley Draper netted their first goal just 10 seconds into the game. Connor McEvoy assisted on the goal.

Traverse City Central rebounded and scored three straight goals, before the Rockets’ Brandon Young scored just before the end of the first period.

Traverse City Central added goals in the second and third periods. McEvoy scored the Rockets final goal with three minutes left in the game.
