Montague’s Cameron Brayman fought off a full count with the bases loaded and drew a walk, giving the Montague baseball team an LSJ Logo incertexciting 7-6 win over Charlevoix Saturday in the second game of a non-league doubleheader.

The Wildcats put up a four-run third inning and a two-run fourth before clinching the win in the seventh.

Montague lost the opener 1-0. The Wildcats nearly tied the game in the sixth inning after Brandon Vanderleest doubled and advanced to third. but was stranded.

Vanderleest finished with a pair of doubles. Andrew Bobian pitched all seven innings for Montague and gave up four hits, one earned run and had seven strikeouts.
