Tigers 10, Twins 7 – The Tigers offense came back to life on Wednesday afternoon, scoring 10 runs on 17 hits to take another series from an AL Central opponent.
Miguel Cabrera hit two home runs, doubled, and had four RBIs.
James McCann hit an inside-the-park home run, his first homer of his career.
The Tigers’ bullpen shut the Twins down, holding Minnesota scoreless in four and two thirds of an inning.
Detroit will continue its road trip with a four-game series with Kansas City starting tomorrow night.
