The Hesperia softball team swept Morley-Stanwood 13-8 and 10-4 in a CSAA doubleheader on Monday.

LSJ Logo incertMera Schmitz paced the Panthers in Game 1 with a home run, double, single with two RBIs. Schmitz also posted the win on the mound, scattering nine hits and four strikeouts.

Mirah Stitt had two hits and three RBIs while Jorie Morton and Kaycee Jackson both had two hits and two RBIs for Hesperia.

In Game 2, Hesperia scored five runs in the seventh to seal the win.  Stitt led Hesperia at the plate with two hits and four RBIs and Jackson had two hits and two RBIs.

Sam Burdick was the winning pitcher, striking out five through seven innings.
