The Muskegon Community College baseball team has been trying to stay in contention for a league title, but lsj-fb-logoMacomb Community College didn’t help that cause on Saturday.

The Jayhawks dropped a doubleheader to Macomb Saturday, 6-2 and 10-4.

MCC fell to 19-12 overall and 9-5 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association. The Jayhawks are now in fourth place, four games behind first-place Kellogg Community College.

The Jayhawks only managed to get three hits in Game 1, with Joe Kniss collecting two of them.

Adrian Anderson had a hot bat for MCC in the nightcap, going 4-for-4 with two doubles. Mitchell Reyes added two hits, including a three-run homer.
