North Muskegon’s bats were alive in record-setting fashion Tuesday in its West Michigan Conference doubleheader sweep of Hart.
The Norse won 32-0 in Game 1, breaking a school record for most runs in a game.
Erick Bleakley led the way for North Muskegon in the first game with four hits and seven RBIs. Ben Garcia had four hits and four RBIs, Ben Gautraud had three hits and three RBIs, and Joe Osborn had three hits and four RBIs. Riley Draper added two hits and two RBIs.
Bleakley pitched a one-hitter for his first win of the season, striking out six for the Norse.
North Muskegon won the nightcap 10-0, Draper pitched the shutout with nine strikeouts and just two Hart hits.
Joel Hardy paced the Norse offense with a single and a triple. Gautraud and Conner Gannon both had two hits while Bleakley had a triple.

That's a school record that is shameful and certainly does not make this former Norsemen proud.
Don't they have a mercy rule??
