Reeths-Puffer pitcher Jacob Boes tossed a three-hit shutout Thursday as the Rockets defeated rival Mona LSJ Logo incertShores 3-0 in the first game of an O-K Black Conference doubleheader.

The Rockets got two runs in the sixth inning with a leadoff double by Collin Houseman, a bunt single and a double by Tyler Moss. Jordan Grabinski doubled in the seventh inning and scored on a Mona Shores error.

Tyler Trovinger had two of the Sailors’ three hits.

Mona Shores got even in the nightcap with a 9-5 win.

Matt Pelfresne pitched the victory for the Sailors. Trovinger and Elijah Wilson each collected two hits.

Joe Champoux had an RBI double and Jaeger Larson had a two-run single for Reeths-Puffer.
