Kenadee Semans pitched a three-hitter in the opening game, then Melissa Shoup tossed a one-hitter in the nightcap, allowing Whitehall to defeat Ludington 10-0 and 12-2 Thursday in a non-league softball doubleheader.
In Game 1, Katelyn Goodrich went 2-for-4 with an inside the park home run for Whitehall. Emily Spicklemire was 2-for-4 with an RBI triple while Madison Bond had an RBI single.
In Game 2, Shoup went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI double. Caitlyn Hain had two singles and scored four runs. Spicklemire helped the cause with an inside the park homer. Jessica Uganski added a pair of two-run doubles.
Whitehall improved its record to 6-6.
