Western Michigan Christian improved its River Valley Conference record to 5-0, topping Grand Rapids Covenant Christian 5-1 in girls soccer on Thursday.
Harley Hubers scored two goals and an assist while Alexys Riksen had two goals and two assists for WMC.
Hubers started the scoring with an assist from Lauren Myers. Hubers added a second goal three minutes later off a Riksen assist.Riksen gave WMC a 3-0 lead off a well served Mikaela Erickson corner kick and then assisted on a Myers goal with 10 minutes left. Riksen connected for the final goal off a Hubers assist.
Lindsey Johnson posted the win in goal. WMC is now 6-3-1 overall.
