Tigers 6, Astros 2 – The Tigers’ victory over Houston on Friday night gives Detroit a three game win streak.
J.D Martinez gave the Tigers a 3-2 lead with a three-run home run in the third inning.
James McCann added some insurance runs with a two-run single in the eighth inning.
Alfredo Simon pitched his team high fifth win of the season, giving up two runs on four hits in seven innings. 
Detroit will look to take the four-game series over the Houston Astros with a victory tomorrow afternoon.
