Royals 6, Tigers 2 – Anibal Sanchez struggled right from the start giving up a home run on the first pitch of the game and the Kansas City did not look back.

Sanchez pitched six innings, giving up five earned runs on nine hits.

Nick Castellanos had a triple and two RBIs.

Detroit will look to take the series and reclaim first place tomorrow night.
