Royals 8, Tigers 1 – The Tigers were defeated Thursday night by defending American League champion Kansas City.

lsj-fb-logoAlfredo Simon lost his first game of the season, pitching four and a third innings, allowing six runs on nine hits while striking out six.

Detroit will look to even the series and reclaim first place tomorrow night in Kansas City.

Lions Add Depth to Offensive Line

The Lions traded their 23rd pick in the 2015 NFL draft to the Denver Broncos for the 28th pick and two 5th Round draft picks.

Detroit selected offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson from Duke with the 28th overall pick.

The draft will continue tomorrow night with the second and third rounds.
