Fruitport took two games from Ludington in Lakes 8 baseball on Thursday, 5-4 and 7-3.
Corey Merkins pitched all seven innings in the Game 1 win, getting seven strikeouts on just one walk.
Parker Tawney and Fletcher Meyers each had two hits for Fruitport.
Jared Collins led Ludington with three hits.
Fruiptort pitcher Jason Carmean pitched all seven innings in Game 2 and struck out 10 on three walks and two earned runs. Carmean also posted two hits at the plate.
Matt Sander and Casey Gagnon also had two hits apiece for the Trojans.
Ludington’s Jordan Bottrell had two hits in the loss.
