The Mona Shores baseball team received outstanding pitching in its doubleheader sweep of Spring Lake on Wednesday.

The Sailors took the first game 10-3, thanks in large part to starter Noah Dykstra, who struck out nine in a complete game win. Dykstra and Tyler Trovinger each tallied two hits to pace the Sailors’ offense.

In Game 2, Mona Shores rolled to a 12-3 win, as Matt Pelfresne and Sam Curran combined to earn the pitching win. Elijah Wilson and Mason Norden each had two hits for the Sailors.
