The Sailors tasted victory in the opener, 15-9, with starting pitcher Desi Parker earning the win with four strikeouts. Parker and Mackenzie Quinn each had three hits for the Sailors, while Veronica Kastelic and Sami Sanborn added two apiece.

The Lakers were able to hold on for a 5-1 win in the nightcap, as Mona Shores stranded five base runners in the final two innings. MacKenzie Willeke led the Sailors (22-11 overall) with two hits.
