The Muskegon Catholic girls soccer team posted a 4-0 win over Montague in the Division 4 district semifinals on Thursday.

Molly Conroy gave MCC a 1-0 lead 11 minutes into the first half. Adeline Bonnette struck with a goal 11 minutes later.

Talia Tyler’s goal midway through the second half gave the Crusaders the 3-0 lead. Victoria Gasior added the final MCC goal with four minutes left in the game.

Lilli Conroy had two assists for the Crusaders.

The win was the fifth shutout for MCC this season. Goalkeeper Mckenzie Wozniak made three saves.

Montague goalie Katie Webster had 24 saves.

The Crusaders face Western Michigan Christian in the district finals on Saturday at 2 p.m. It will be the third time the two teams have met in the finals in the last four years.
