In West Michigan Conference baseball action, Montague and Oakridge split a double header on Wednesday. Oakridge took Game 1 by a final of 6-0 and Montague won the second 3-2.LSJ Logo incert

Wyatt Hilton got the win for the Eagles in the first game, allowing five hits, striking out seven and walking one.

Dylan Stever was tagged with the loss for Montague despite going the distance.

Jordan Fairchild led the offensive attack for Oakridge, finishing 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs. Hunter Benson was also 3-for-4 and scored a run.

In the second game, Montague’s Abram Erickson threw 6 1/3 innings, giving up just two hits, two runs (one earned), and struck out a pair. Jacob Buchberger came on to get the last two outs to record the save.

Buchberger tacked on two hits and scored two runs. Max Mickelson has a single that plated two and Stever added an RBI for Montague.
