The Orchard View baseball team swept Ludington 14-10 and 11-1 in Lakes 8 action on Tuesday night.

Kris Veen led the Cardinals in Game 1, going 4-for-4 with two RBIs while Mike Parker scored two runs and had two hits and two RBIs.

Ludington’s Ryan Bowen hit a three-run home run.

The Cardinals shut down the Orioles’ offense in Game 2.

Jay Mitchell pitched the victory, tossing five innings while allowing one run and striking out five.

Mitchell went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs while Veen hit two doubles for the Cardinals.

Austin McCarthy hit a double and scored the lone run for the Orioles.
