The Rockets dropped the opener 2-1 and tied 5-5 in the second game, which was called due to darkness.

Reeths-Puffer is now 16-13-1 on the season.

Cole Aerts went 2-for-2 in the first game to lead the R-P offense. Brody Vanderlinde pitched well in a losing effort, allowing just two runs in his six innings of work. Noel Sheffer drove in the only Rocket run with a sacrifice fly.

In Game 2, Rocket pitcher Jacob Boes struck out nine in 6 1/3 innings, allowing one earned run. Vanderlinde was 2-for-2 at the plate with an RBI and Tyler Moss also drove in a run for the Rockets.
