The Oakridge softball team won both ends of a hard fought doubleheader Wednesday against Montague.
The highlight of the night came in Game 2, when Hannah Reinhold hit a two-run walk-off homer in the bottom of the seventh to give the Eagles a 6-5 win.
Reinhold also had a triple and a single in the game while Alessa Buchner had two hits for the Eagles, who improved to 16-3 overall and 9-1 in the West Michigan Conference.
Alyssa Fessenden picked up the win on the mound by going the full seven innings, scattering seven hits.
Oakridge won the opener 8-5. Fessenden was the winning pitcher while adding a solo home run. Reinhold had two hits, including a triple.
Montague’s Kenadee Shugars had two triples in Game 1.
