The game was tied 3-3 in the third inning, Montague took a 5-3 lead in the fourth, then the Rockets tied the game 5-5 in the fifth.

Montague’s McKenna Lohman walked in the seventh inning, stole second, moved to third on a bad throw, then scored the winner on Rice’s hit.

Rice finished with two RBIs while Emma Rupert and Hannah Smith had two hits apiece for the Wildcats.

Kenadee Shugars got the win on the mound, striking out 10 and walking only one.
