The Spring Lake baseball team took two from Fremont on Wednesday, 13-2 and 6-1, in Lakes 8 Conference play.
Pitching was the strong point for the Lakers, with David Gnegy tossing a complete game two-hitter with eight strikeouts in the opener.
Trenton Dove pitched another compete game in the nightcap, scattering three hits and striking out three.
Mark Williamson had two RBIs for Spring Lake in Game 1 while Ben Winsemius added one.
Williamson colleted another two hits and three RBIs in Game 2. Nathan Betts had two hits and scored two runs while Kyle Zieltlow had one hit and two RBIs.
The Lakers improved to 12-5 and 11-3 in the conference. They will host conference leader Muskegon Catholic on Friday in a doubleheader.
