Sydney Hanson scored the contest’s lone goal, with an assist from Marissa Drummond. Morgan Abbott recorded four saves in goal, including a crucial diving effort in the first half that prevented a tying score.

Whitehall 1, Hart 0 – The Vikings withstood a tough challenge from the Pirates to advance to play Ravenna in the West Michigan Conference tournament. The Vikings scored their lone goal late in the second half on a successful penalty kick from Alexis Snyder. Snyder was given the opportunity after Hart was whistled for a hand ball in the penalty box.

Oakridge 8, Mason County Central 0 – The Eagles had seven different players score in their shutout of the Spartans in the West Michigan Conference tournament opener. The Eagles will play the winner of the Montague-North Muskegon game. Freshman Camri Florez scored two goals and Brandy Weaver added a goal and two assists. Others who found the back of the net included Micky Wall, Hannah Jones, Helena Kaim, Nicole Karel and Emily Jacoutot. Bri Kotecki and Brooke Ruel split time in goal for the Eagles, who remain unbeaten at 10-0-3 overall and 8-0 in conference action.
