The Western Michigan Christian girls soccer team won its fourth consecutive River Valley Conference championship after a dominant 8-0 victory over Grand River Preparatory on Tuesday.LSJ Logo incert

The Warriors are 9-4-2 on the season and 6-0 in league play. The River Valley Conference is disbanding after this season.

Jessica Kinnucan scored two goals to lead the Warriors. Six other players accounted for the other six goals.

WMC scored four goals in the first 10 minutes of play.

“Championships are good,” said WMC coach David Hulings. “Although our goal is learn to train and play like champions, it is great to get one, as well.”
