Tigers 5, White Sox 4 – James McCann’s ninth inning walk-off home run led the Tigers over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers scored five unanswered runs to overcome a late 4-0 deficit.

Detroit’s designated hitter Victor Martinez tied the game 4-4 in the eighth inning unloading the bases with a three-run double.

Joakim Soria picked up his third victory of the season for the Tigers, pitching a clean ninth inning.

Detroit starting pitcher David Price pitched a no decision, allowing four runs on six hits in six innings.

Detroit will open a three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates starting on Tuesday night.
