The Ludington girls soccer team scored a goal a minute into the second half to defeat Cheboygan 1-0 in a Division 3 regional contest Wednesday at Clare High School.
Ali Plamondon scored the goal for Ludington, beating Cheboygan goalie Lyndsey Purcell.
The Orioles had a 15-10 advantage in shots on goal.
Ludington advances to Saturday’s regional championship game against Freeland at 1 p.m. in Clare.
