The Muskegon Clipper bats heated up 22 hours after losing their first game of the season.

LSJ Logo incertThe Clippers put a season high 15 runs on the scoreboard as they shut down the Motor City Pride 15-0 on Friday night at Siena Heights University.

Muskegon, which lost Thursday night to River City, is now 9-1 on the season and remains in first place in the Michigan Summer Collegiate Baseball Leagu3, three games ahead of the rest of the pack.

Cameron Bair and Jason Ribecky each hit home runs for Muskegon, which did most of the damage in the third and sixth innings, scoring four runs in each frame.

Jacob Gividen picked up the victory, pitching eight scoreless innings and scattering three hits while striking out nine.

Jordan Drake pitched a scoreless ninth inning for the Clippers in relief.

The Clippers will play the Pride Saturday in a doubleheader starting at noon.
