Tigers 8, Blue Jays 6 – The Tigers held on to defeat the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday night to snap their three-game losing streak.

Detroit starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez pitched a no-hitter into the seventh inning. He picked up his seventh win of the season, allowing four runs on three hits in 7 1/3 innings.Eye on the D

J.D. Martinez hit a double and knocked in two runs for the Tigers.

Detroit will take on the Blue Jays Saturday afternoon.
