Pistons acquire three players from the Phoenix Suns, sign former Spurs center

The Detroit Pistons acquired small forward Marcus Morris, forward Danny Granger and guard Reggie Bullock from Phoenix for a second round draft pick on Thursday afternoon.

Morris averaged 10.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in 81 games for the Suns last season. He is expected to start at small forward for the Pistons.

Granger averaged 6.3 points per game for the Miami Heat in 30 games. A former All-Star as a member of the Indiana Pacers, Granger’s best season came in  2008-09 when he averaged 25.8 points per game.

Bullock averaged 1.9 points per game in 36 games for the Suns last season.

The Pistons also signed former San Antonio Spurs’ center Aron Baynes.

Baynes, who averaged 6.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in 70 games for the Spurs last season, started 17 games at center.
