Nick Castellanos homered in his second straight game for Detroit.
Detroit starting pitcher Shane Greene was rocked in the loss, allowing five runs on 11 hits in 4 1/3 innings.
The Tigers will start a three-game series on the road against the Tampa Bay Rays starting on Monday night.
