Tigers 6, Orioles 1 – The Tigers are hoping that Daniel Norris showed on Sunday,exactly what the team can expect to see for years to come in their 6-1 victory over Baltimore.
Norris, the main prospect acquired in the David Price trade, pitched 7 1/3 innings, giving up one run on four hits and one walk while also striking out five Oriole batters.
J.D Martinez gave the Tigers a quick offensive boost with a three-run homer in the first inning.
The Tigers will next host the division leading Royals on Tuesday night to start a three game series.
