Angels 2, Tigers 0 – The Los Angeles Angels shut down the Tiger offense, allowing just two hits on Thursday afternoon to take the three-game series.
J.D. Martinez had the Tigers only extra base hit, with a triple in the eighth inning.
Detroit starting pitcher Randy Wolf pitched the loss, allowing one run on five hits in seven innings.
The Tigers will head out to Toronto to start a three-game weekend series with the Blue Jays starting Friday night.
