Astros 6, Tigers 5 – The Astros’ star second basemen Jose Altuve hit a walk off single to led Houston to victory over the Tigers on Sunday afternoon.
Miguel Cabrera hit a double, home run and knocked in three runs for Detroit, while Tyler Collins doubled and knocked in one run.
Detroit’s young starting pitcher Matt Boyd pitched a no decision, allowing five runs on six hits in five innings.
Tom Gorzelanny took the loss giving up the game-winning run in one inning of relief for Detroit.
The Tigers will get a day off tomorrow before close their road trip with a two-game series against the Chicago Cubs starting on Tuesday night.
