Tigers 5, Angels 0 – Justin Verlander was three outs away from pitching his third career no-hitter, but gave up a leadoff double in the ninth inning. Yet the Tigers managed to beat the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday night to snap their five-game losing streak.
