The visitors opened the scoring midway through the first half.

But Grand Haven’s Mason Harloff saved the day with a pair of goals before halftime, the first with 7:04 remaining and the second with 43 seconds left.

The second half was scoreless and physical, with both teams receiving multiple penalty cards.

Grand Haven improved to 1-1 on the season. The Bucs will host defending state champion Hudsonville on Friday.
