Thousands of copies became available in area retail stores this morning, and this year they’re free!

This year’s LSJ football section features a cover story, written by former Muskegon Chronicle Sports Editor Tom Kendra, about Muskegon Catholic Coach Steve Czerwon, who has won two state championships infootball tab 2015 inside story his first two years on the job.

There are also news stories about the pending changes in local high school athletic conferences, and the decision by Hart High School officials to put their varsity football program on hold for a year.

There’s also a column by LSJ Editor Steve Gunn, looking back at the many thrills of the 2014 football season and previewing the great games coming up this fall.

And of course there’s a full page of information and photos about each of our 18 high school football teams, who begin play next week. There is also a separate page with schedules for every area team.

The LSJ football section can be found at various retail outlets throughout the area, including Plumbs grocery stores, Jack’s Corner Store on Grand Haven Road, Pic N Pac on Henry Street, Butch’s on Sherman Boulevard and the Admiral station on Col1y Road in Whitehall.

So grab your copy of the LSJ football preview, get up-to-date on your favorite area teams, and we’ll see you at the games!
