The Mona Shores boys tennis team took third place in the Forest Hills Northern Invitational on Saturday.
Casey Walukonis, the Sailors’ No. 4 singles player, finished in second place in his flight with a 2-1 record. The No. 1 doubles team of Nick DeBruin and John Hunt also took second with a 2-1 record.
James Surge (No. 1 singles), Koby Gossett (No. 2 singles), Alex Guest and Destry Follett (No. 2 doubles), and Nick Davis and Zac Davis (No. 3 doubles) all captured one victory for Mona Shores.
Forest Hills Northern won the tournament, Holland Christian was second and East Kentwood was fourth.
