Tanetta finished with 11 receptions for 140 yards. Borgman threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns on 14-for-21 passing.

“I’ll tell you this now because you will hear it all season. Logan Tanetta is a solid receiver and I have been in this business for a while now,” said Lakers coach Jerry Rabideau.

The Lakers struggled to get going offensively throughout the contest. They finished with just four total passing yards and 111 total yards compared to the Broncos’ 468 total yards.

The bright spot of the night for the Lakers was running back Drew Cather, who finished with 108 yards on 10 carries, including an 89-yard touchdown run, which was the only score of the night for the Lakers.
