Mason County Central beat Pentwater 4-3 in a nonconference soccer game on Thursday.
Cody Newman led the Spartans with a goal and two assists.
Tyler Marek added a goal and an assist and Joe Buswinka and Connor Willick also scored for the Spartans.
The Spartans improved to 2-8-2 on the season.
