Broncos 24, Lions 12 – The Lions offensive struggles continued on Sunday night, as the Denver Broncos spoiled Detroit’s home opener.

Matthew Stafford threw for 282 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Calvin Johnson led Detroit receivers with eight catches for 77 yards.

Stephen Tulloch led the defense with 11 tackles, while Glover Quin had an interception.

Twins 7, Tigers 1 – The Minnesota Twins six run second inning propelled them over the Tigers on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers finish the home portion of the 2015 season with a 38-43 record, worst since the 2004.

Josh Wilson knocked in the lone run for Detroit, while Tyler Collins hit two doubles.

Detroit starting pitcher Randy Wolf was rocked taking the loss, allowing six runs on seven hits in 1 1/3 innings.

The Tigers will start their final road trip of the season against the Texas Rangers on Monday night.
