Fruitport improved its season record to 6-3 overall following Tuesday’s three-game sweep of Lakes Eight Conference rival Ludington, 25-21, 25-18, 27-25.
Trojans setter Alyssa Veihl had a solid performance with 30 assists, six aces and 35 digs. Veihl led an outstanding serving performance by Fruitport, as the Trojans recorded 13 aces.
Veihl set up Delaney Bennett often during the match, helping her total a team-best 13 kills.
Bennett also contributed 23 digs, while Sammy Hockstra totaled 29.
