Grant’s varsity volleyball team continued its stellar season on Tuesday, as the Tigers roared past Reed City in a three-game sweep, 25-10, 25-11, 25-14.
“We passed the ball so well tonight, which led into great setting and attacking,” said Grant coach Tricia Schuitema, whose squad improves to 20-3-2 overall. “We also served really well tonight, with 14 aces as a team.”
Leading the Tigers’ tremendous serving was Ashley Herin with five aces.
Laura Bouwkamp and Hannah Anderson paced the Tigers with seven kills apiece. Setter Sierra Schuitema totaled 21 assists and also led the team with six digs.
