Muskeogn Community College dropped a pair of volleyball matches at the Parkland tournament on Saturday.
The Jayhawks fell 25-18, 23-25, 25-18 and 19-15 to Des Moines Area Commnity College. Iowa Central topped MCC 25-22, 25-15 and 25-16.
Lindsey Jacobs led MCC with 72 assists, six kills and 17 digs. Marissa Hassevoort had 38 digs and two aces, Rachel Brown had 21 kills and two blocks and Hannah Deblois had 16 kills, three blocks and 13 digs.
Jane Kuipers had 12 kills and two blocks, Haley Koetje had 10 kills and Alysia Folkersma had 10 kills and six blocks.
Jenna Pesch had 19 digs, Veronica Booth added 17 and Brooke Day had 11.
MCC falls to 7-10 on the season and returns to action at home on Tuesday, Sept. 22 against Lake Michigan College at 5:30 p.m.
