Amanda Skidmore opened up the scoring for the Jayhawks 23 minutes into the first half. After winning a 50/50 ball she beat three defenders on the dribble before depositing the ball into the back of the goal.

Two minutes into the second half, Jaitey Glaser put the second goal on the board, assisted by Lauren Maus.

Goalkeeper Megan McFarland recorded the Jayhawks’ first shutout of the season with strong defensive play by fullbacks Lyric Glaser, Kelli Kersting, Caitlin Hughey, Emily Sexton and Megan Larabee.

The Jayhawks will play Jackson Community College on Saturday at Orchard View High School at 1 p.m.
