The Rockets fell to NorthPointe Christian (25-16, 25-12), Kenowa Hills (25-17, 25-17) and DeWitt (25-9, 25-17) in their first three matches. R-P rebounded against Thornapple Kellogg to win 25-18, 26-24, and 16-14 but lost its final match to Zeeland East (25-12, 26-24).

Ellory Farmer led the Rockets’ serving attack with 11 aces, Kelly Zoe and Cam Vanderleest both had four aces and Kate Uganski had three.

Vanderleest posted 33 kills and seven digs while Shelbi Adams had 13 kills and eight blocks for the Rockets.

Farmer posted 40 assists and 13 digs, Uganski had 36 assists and 12 digs,  Brooke Larabee had nine kills and eight blocks, Emma Lynn had 28 digs and Kalisa Williams had 17 digs for the Rockets.
